Objective:To investigate the feasibility and advantages of laparoscopic cholecystectomy-LC in the treatment of left sided gallbladder combined with stones;to discuss the main points of left laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods:The left gallbladder group(experimental group)was collected retrospectively:from March 2012 to October 2019,11 patients with left gallbladder and stones were treated in the biliary tract surgery department of Shengjing Hospital,China Medical University, and the right gallbladder group(control group):The biliary surgery department of Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University was selected from October 2017 to October 2019.LC patients with gallbladder stones were treated,33cases matched the general situation of the left gallbladder group, and clinical data of 44patients were collected. The intraoperative conditions(operative method, surgical time, intraoperative blood loss, and presence or absence of drainage)and postoperative conditions(number of hospital stays, postoperative pathology, postoperative complications)were compared between the two groups.SPSS25.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results:The study included 44 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, including 11 in the left gallbladder group(experimental group)and 33 in the right gallbladder group(control group). In the left gallbladder group(experimental group),there were 3 males(27.27%)and 8 females(72.73%);The average age was 46.55±15.05years and the average BMI was 22.51±2.63 Kg/m~2.In the right gallbladder group(control group),there were 9 males(27.27%)and 24 females(72.73%);The average age was 46.82±13.62 years old and the average BMI was 21.98±3.08 Kg/m~2.There were no statistical differences in white blood cells, liver function and gallbladder wall thickness between the two groups before surgery. There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications, intraoperative blood loss, and postoperative hospital stay between the left and right gallbladder groups(p>0.05).The average operation time of the left gallbladder group was 70.55±28.85min,which was significantly longer than the right gallbladder group of 50.61±17.18 min,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is feasible for patients with left gallbladder and stones, and has the advantages of less trauma and quick recovery.
