| Objects:1.Beck Depression Inventory(BDI),State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI)and the International Affective Picture System-Event Related Potential(IAPS-ERP)technology were used to evaluate the cognitive characteristics of emotional picture in CFS patients and healthy control.2.Using BDI,STAI and the IAPS-ERP technique to compare the potential changes between the real acupuncture group and the fake acupuncture group after treatment, and to explore the influence of acupuncture on cognition.Methods:1.According to strict criteria for inclusion,55 CFS patients and 22 healthy subjects were included.BDI and STAI were used to observe the difference in subjective emotional state, and the positive, neutral and negative pictures in the international emotional picture system were selected as Visual stimulation task, respond to the Oddball paradigm target stimulus, record behavioral data(response time, correct rate, error rate)and the incubation period and amplitude of N100,P200,N200,P300,LPP wave patterns induced by emotional stimuli BDI and STAI scores, behavioral data and ERP potentials were used to analyze the emotional and cognitive characteristics of CFS patients.2.Randomly divide 55 CFS patients into acupuncture group(group A)and placebo acupuncture group(group B).Group A used unilateral Ganshu,Shenshu,Pishu,Zusanli,Baihui for alternating acupuncture;Group B selected 5 non-meridian and non-acupoints located in the limbs nearby, and used Streitberger comfort needle for acupuncture. The treatment cycle is 6 weeks:5 times a week for the 1st and 2nd week,3 times a week for weeks3 rd and 4th,and 2 times a week for weeks 5th and 6th.Leaving the needle for 30 minutes each time, and performing the needle once every 15 minutes.BDI,STAI,and IAPS-ERP techniques were used to detect the changes in questionnaire scores, behavioral data and ERP of the two groups before and after treatment, and to explore the effect of acupuncture on the emotional cognition of CFS patients.Results:1.Research results of chronic fatigue syndrome on the cognitive characteristics of emotional pictures:(1)BDI and STAI scores of the CFS patient group were higher than those of the healthy test group(P <0.05).(2)Behavioral data: There is no significant difference in the correct rate between the healthy control group and the CFS patient group when responding to the positive smiley picture button(P> 0.05),However,the error rate of the CFS patient group was higher than that of the healthy control group(P <0.05).(4)Comparison of differences in ERP data between the CFS patient group and the healthy control group:For positive picture stimulation,N200 amplitude has interaction between groups and electrodes(F = 5.95,P =0.01);P300 latency has interaction between groups and electrodes(F = 9.52,P = 0.002);LPP amplitude has significant interaction between groups and electrodes(F = 10.06,P =0.002).LPP latency has significant group main effects(F = 8.54,P = 0.003).For neutral picture stimulation, there is a significant interaction between the group and the electrode at the P200 amplitude(F = 8.85,P = 0.003);there is a significant interaction between the group and the electrode at the N200 amplitude(F = 17.76,P <0.0001);There was a significant interaction between groups and electrodes during the P300 latency(F = 13.34,P = 0.0003).P300 amplitude has significant Group main effect(F = 5.27,P = 0.02).For negative picture stimulation,P200 amplitude has group and electrode interaction(F = 10.20,P = 0.001);N200amplitude has group and electrode interaction(F = 11.84,P = 0.0006);LPP latency and amplitude have an interaction between the groups and the electrodes(F = 4.57,P = 0.03;F =5.04,P = 0.02).P200 latency has significant group main effect(F = 9.75,P = 0.002);P300latency has significant group main effect(F = 6.81,P = 0.009);2.Research results of the effect of acupuncture on the cognitive function of chronic fatigue syndrome:(1)BDI and STAI scores decreased significantly after treatment in acupuncture group(P <0.05);BDI and STAI scores before and after treatment in placebo acupuncture group had no statistical difference(P> 0.05);The difference between BDI and STAI scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).(2)Behavioral data:there is no significant difference between the correct rate and the error rate of the acupuncture group before and after the treatment of the positive smile face button(P> 0.05));There was no significant difference between the correct rate and the error rate of the placebo-needle group before and after the treatment of the positive smile face button(P> 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in response time, correct rate and error rate between the two groups after treatment(P> 0.05).(3)Comparison of the difference in ERP data change value between the true acupuncture group and the placebo-needle acupuncture group: For positive picture stimulation, the groups and the electrodes of the latency period and amplitude change of each wave did not show interaction.Focus on the analysis of the main effects:N200 latency change value has a group main effect(F = 4.17,P = 0.04);P300 latency change value has a significant group main effects(F = 63.23,P <0.0001);LPP latency and amplitude changes have significant group main effects(F = 7.15,P = 0.008;F = 5.73,P = 0.02).For neutral picture stimulation, there were significant group and electrode interactions between the changes in P300 latency and amplitude(F = 13.09,P = 0.0003;F = 13.28,P = 0.0003).There are significant group main effect on the change value of P200 latency period(F = 14.17,P =0.0002).For negative picture stimuli, there is a significant interaction between groups and electrodes of the P300 amplitude change value(F = 8.07,P = 0.005).There are significant group main effect on the change value of N100 latency period(F = 7.67,P = 0.006);there is no obvious difference in the latency period and amplitude change values of the other waves.Conclusions:1.CFS patients have obstacles to the cognitive processing ability of emotional pictures.Their perception, recognition and deep processing activities of negative pictures are excessively enhanced, which may be related to their long-term negative emotional state.2.Acupuncture can effectively regulate concurrent emotional disorders in CFS patients.Acupuncture therapy has a certain regulating effect on the cognitive processing of emotional stimulation in CFS patients, and further research and understanding are needed. |
