Objective:To explore the correlation between SmtO2,Sc-mt O2and Lactate in septic shock patients and septic patients without shock,in order to provide a new method for evaluating the condition and predicting the outcome of patients with septic shock. Methods:In this study,64 patients diagnosed with sepsis in the Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit, the second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from April 2019 to January 2020 were selected.32 patients with septic shock were chosen as the observation group, and other 32 septic patients without shock were the control group. The arterial blood Lac level was measured immediately after enrollment. At the same time, the Sct O2 and SmtO2 was monitored continuously for an hour, the Sc-mt O2was calculated by Sct O2 minus SmtO2,and the outcome of the patients in the observation group was counted on the 28th day after admission.Pearson method was used to analyze the correlation between SmtO2,Sc-mt O2 and Lac,the ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the accuracy of Sc-mt O2 and Lac in predicting the outcome of patients with septic shock.Results:1.There was no correlation between SmtO2 and Lac both in observation group and in control group;2.There was a significant negative correlation between Sc-mt O2 and Lac in observation group(r=-0.623,P<0.001),and no correlation in control group;3.The area under the ROC curve(0.814 vs 0.883)and the specificity(76%vs 80%)of Sc-mt O2 for predicting the death outcome of septic shock patients were Slightly lower than that of Lac,and the sensitivity was the same(85.7%).Conclusion:1.There are tissue hypoxia in different organs(skeletal muscle and brain)in patients with septic shock.Sc-mt O2 can reflect the difference of hypoxia in different organs.2.There is a negative correlation between Sc-mt O2 and Lac in patients with septic shock, which may be a potential index to predict the clinical outcome of patients with septic shock.
