Objective: To study the changes of serum IL-1(Interleukin-1),CRP(C-reactive protein)and PCT(Procalcitonin)levels in patients with gastric cancer before and after operation, and the effect of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on their levels after operation,so as to explore the clinical application value of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Methods: A total of 82 patients with gastric cancer who were hospitalized in the Third Department of Surgery, the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from May 2019 to January 2020 were randomly divided into control group(n =41)and experimental group(n =41).After radical resection of gastric cancer, the control group was given routine parenteral and enteral nutrition support.omega-3 fish oil fat emulsion injection was added to the test group for 100ml/d,and it was continuously applied from the first day to the sixth day after operation.Blood samples were drawn before operation,1 day and 7 days after operation to determine the level of IL-1 in serum by ELISA(enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay),the level of CRP in serum by Turbidimetric inhibition immuno assay and the level of PCT in serum by electrochemiluminescence method. Results: 1.There was no difference in the level of IL-1 between the control group and the experimental group before operation(P>0.05).There was no difference in the level of IL-1 between the two groups on the first day after operation(P>0.05).The level of IL-1 in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05).The level of IL-1 on the first day after operation was higher than that before operation in both groups(P<0.05);Among the two groups, the level of IL-1 on the first day after operation in laparoscopic surgery group and operation time≤240min group was lower than that in laparotomy group, and operation time>240min group(P<0.05).In the experimental group, the level of IL-1 in the complication group was higher than that in the non-complication group on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05).2.There was no difference in the level of CRP between the control group and the experimental group before operation(P>0.05).There was no difference in the level of CRP between the two groups on the first day after operation(P>0.05).The level of CRP in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05).The level of CRP on the first day after operation was higher than that before operation in both groups(P<0.05);Among the two groups, the level of CRP on the first day after operation in laparoscopic surgery group and operation time≤240min group was lower than that in laparotomy group, and operation time>240min group(P<0.05).The level of CRP in the complication group was higher than that in the non-complication group on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05);3.There was no difference in the level of PCT between the control group and the experimental group before operation(P>0.05).There was no difference in the level of PCT between the two groups on the first day after operation(P>0.05).The level of PCT in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05).The level of PCT on the first day after operation was higher than that before operation in both groups(P<0.05);Among the two groups, the level of PCT on the first day after operation in laparoscopic surgery group and operation time≤240min group was lower than that in laparotomy group, and operation time>240min group(P<0.05).The level of PCT in the complication group was higher than that in the non-complication group on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The levels of serum inflammatory factors IL-1,CRP and PCT increased after radical operation in patients with gastric cancer, indicating that surgical trauma caused inflammatory reaction.2.The serum levels of IL-1,CRP and PCT were lower in patients with gastric cancer who underwent laparoscopic operation and had shorter operation time than those who underwent open operation and had longer operation time, indicating a mild inflammatory response.3.The serum levels of IL-1,CRP and PCT increased after postoperative infectious complications in patients with gastric cancer.4.The application of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids can reduce the levels of inflammatory factors IL-1,CRP and PCT in the serum of patients with gastric cancer after surgery and reduce the inflammatory response, which is conducive to the postoperative recovery of patients and has clinical application value.
