| Vocabulary is the basis for children’s communication,The early development of vocabulary reflects the process of constructing meaning in the early childhood mental world.The development of the human language system is gradually established as children acquire vocabulary.Vocabulary development is an important indicator to measure children’s language development and cognitive development.Children can communicate better with others only if they have a large amount of vocabulary.At home and abroad,children’s vocabulary ability is explored from the two dimensions of compensation and expression of word.Due to hearing loss,hearing impaired children show many obstacles in vocabulary compensation and expression.After children’s hearing compensation and reconstruction,monitoring the vocabulary ability of hearing-impaired children in a timely manner and evaluating their problems in word comprehension and expression are the keys to helping them with language rehabilitation.This study mainly includes the following:1.Compilation of vocabulary for word comprehension and expressionRefer to the order of normal children’s acquired words,and select the nouns and verbs that children initially learned to form a words list,the words list includes 105 nouns and 50 verbs By matching the pictures corresponding to the target words,forming a vocabulary for word comprehension and expression evaluation.2.Characteristics of word comprehension and expression of hearing impaired childrenThis study selects 21 children after hearing compensation and reconstruction,but their language ability is poor and they can’t speak complete sentences.The hearing impaired children who are currently in the word stage to evaluate the word understanding and expression,analyze and summarize the characteristics of word comprehension and expression skills,and summarize the hearing impaired children common error types and error directions when expressing words.The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between word comprehension and naming ability of hearing impaired children(r = 0.834 **),and children with hearing impairment have greater vocabulary comprehension than vocabulary expression ability;their ability to understand and name nouns is higher than the ability to understand and express verbs;the pattern of acquired word types is more consistent with ordinary children and is related to the basic frequency in life;when naming words,the most common types of errors are unresponsiveness,related descriptions and homonymous substitutions.3.Propose the Ladder Word Training StrategyAccording to the characteristics of the word comprehension and expression of hearing-impaired children summarized by the assessment,as well as the common error types and error trends,combined with the theoretical basis and practical experience,design a Ladder Word Training Strategy including four stages of experience,understanding,naming and using.4.Verify the effectiveness of the stepped word strategyUsing the alternating experiment design of a single subject method,three children with hearing impairment were given word intervention training to verify the effectiveness of Ladder Word Training Strategy for hearing impaired children and explore the most effective intervention methods.The results show that the Ladder Word Training Strategy can effectively improve the vocabulary ability of hearing impaired children,and the intervention efficiency of the parallel training and vertical training is basically the same. |
