Objective: To investigate the choice of surgery opportunity in the treatment of patients who suffered from malignancy complicated with abdominal aortic aneurysm(and / or iliac artery aneurysm,AAA / IAA);Methods: A total of 20 selected patients with malignancy and aortic aneurysm who admitted in hospital from 2012 to 2018 were recruited in this study and all patients were followed up to 2019.Results:The mean age of 20 patients(17 males,3 females)was75.47±8.17 years old.6 subjects refused any treatment. One of the 14 patients who received treatment died 3 days after surgry.Other patients were operated successfully.During a mean follow-up of 21±11.8 months(range 3–44 months),two patients died, one patients had redissection of distal aortic stent 2 months after surgry. No related complications were observed in the remaining patients during the subsequent follow-up.Conclusion: EVAR for aneurysms prior to tumor resection might be more advantageous in patients with concomitant AAA /IAA and tumor.
