Atrial fibrillation(AF)is the most common arrhythmia in the world.Catheter ablation is an important treatment for symptomatic atrial fibrillation, but bleeding and embolism are the main complications of surgery. At present, patients with AF who are taking new oral anticoagulants(NOAC)are gradually replacing patients taking warfarin, and more and more patients taking new oral anticoagulants are choosing catheter ablation. However, there is no consensus on the anticoagulant treatment of NOACs during the perioperative period of catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation,Anti-coagulation therapy is still insufficient before, during and after surgery. The authors will review the anticoagulant treatment of new oral anticoagulants for perioperative catheter ablation of AF.
