Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychological anxiety and depression status of GERC patients,to analyze the correlation of esophageal PH with GERC in 24 hours and the correlation of anxiety, depression and cough degree induced by GERC,provide a strong evidence for the early diagnosis of GERC and the determination of anxiety and depression in GERC patients. Methods:From November 2018 to October 2019,the respiratory department and the digestive system of the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University are in accordance with 70 patients diagnosed by GERC,the sex is not limited, ages 30 to 60,as the observation group. In addition,60 cases of healthy physical examination in the affiliated hospital of Qinghai University were selected as the control group, the sex is not limited, ages 30 to 60.SAS scores and SDS scores were performed in all patients in GERC group and healthy physical examination group.24-hour esophageal PH monitoring and cough symptom scores were performed in GERC group.Results:1.There was a positive correlation between the severity of cough symptoms and the time percentage of PH <4,the longest reflux time and DeMeester scores in the observation group,(r_s=0.831,r_s=0.422,r_s=0.890,P<0.05),there was no significant between the severity of cough symptoms and the number of times pH< 4 and the number of refluxes?5 minutes(P > 0.05).2.There were significant in SAS scores and SDS scores between the observation group and the control group. The SAS scores and SDS scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group.3.The SAS scores and SDS scores between groups were statistically significant in the observation group.Spearman correlation analysis showed that SAS scores and SDS scores were positively correlated with cough severity(r_s=0.792,r_s=0.631,P<0.05).The higher the severity of cough, the higher the SAS and SDS scores.4.Compared with the 24-hour monitoring parameters of esophageal PH in the non-anxiety GERC patients in the observation group, the number of times of pH<4,the percentage of time of pH<4,the number of times of reflux ?5 min,the longest reflux time, and the Demeester score were statistically significant(P<0.05),GERC patients with anxiety had higher 24-hour esophageal pH than those without anxiety.5.Compared with the 24-hour esophageal pH value monitoring parameters of GERC patients with no depression in the observation group, the number of times of pH<4,the percentage of time of pH<4,and the Demeester scores in patients with depression were statistically significant(P<0.05).GERC patients with depression had higher 24-hour esophageal pH than those without depression. There was no significant in the number and longest reflux time of reflux ?5 min(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The severity of the cough symptom in the GERC is related to the degree of gastroesophageal reflux, this suggests that the acid reflux disease is getting worse, and so is the cough.2.The SAS scores and SDS scores of patients in GERC group were significantly higher than those in healthy physical examination group, suggesting that psychological symptoms such as anxiety, depression and gastroesophageal reflux often coexist.3.The severity of cough in the GERC was associated with its SAS and SDS scores, suggesting that the higher the cough symptoms in the GERC,the higher the anxiety and depression.4.The 24-hour esophageal pH monitoring index of the patients with anxiety and depression in GERC group was higher than that of the patients without anxiety and depression, suggesting that acid reflux in GERC patients with anxiety and depression is more serious than that in GERC patients without anxiety and depression.
