| Objective:To evaluate the curative effect of modified Koyanagi operation on severe hypospadias in our hospital.Methods:The clinical data of 151 cases of Koyanagi operation and188 cases of severe hypospadias treated with Duckett operation in our hospital from February 2009 to October 2018 were retrospectively reviewed,the cure rate and complications of the two operations were compared and analyzed,and the efficacy of improved Koyanagi operation in our hospital was evaluated.Results:In the Koyanagi group,there were 17 cases of urinary fistula,15 cases of urethral stricture,2 cases of urethral diverticulum,3 cases of urethral infection,and 2 cases of wound dehission.In the Duckett group,there were 37 cases of urinary fistula,27 cases of urethral stricture,6 cases of urethral diverticulum,11 cases of urethral infection,and 6 cases of wound dehission.The cure rate in the Koyanagi group was significantly higher than that in the Duckett group,and the urinary fistula rate was significantly lower than that in the Duckett group(P < 0.05).Parents’ satisfaction with appearance was significantly lower than that of non-operative urologists(P < 0.05).Conclusions:The modified Koyanagi surgical operation in ourhospital is more convenient,with fewer postoperative complications and better postoperative appearance of the penis.The curative effect of treating severe hypospadias is accurate and close to the international level,which can be used as a new choice for treating severe hypospadias. |
