Objective: In this study,Cone beam computed tomography was used to measure and analyze the changes of density and volume of bone graft after the operation,so as to evaluate the quality of bone graft and provide reference for the follow-up treatment.Methods: According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,10 patients with alveolar cleft were selected from August 2018 to October 2019 in the maxillofacial plastic and aesthetic surgery of the Stomatological Hospital of Zunyi Medical University.The sex,age and preoperative CBCT data were recorded.The operation of all patients was to repair alveolar cleft with iliac cancellous bone graft,and the CBCT images of the patients were collected one week and three months after the operation.DICOM data is imported into Mimics software for three-dimensional reconstruction,and a marker point is set on the threedimensional image to determine the datum plane.The changes of the cancellous bone density of the grafted bone and the opposite normal alveolar bone were measured and analyzed by the software of Mimics,and Measurement of the volume of bone tissue in transplantation area by three-dimensional reconstruction.t-test were applyed in the analysis,P < 0.05,with statistical significance.Results: 1.Measurement of BMD: the average BMD of iliac cancellous bone and contralateral alveolar cancellous bone was 623.00±63.41 Hu and 604.27 ± 48.06 Hu at 1 week after operation;Three months after the operation,the average bone tissue density of the ilium group was 480.13 ± 40.13,and that of the alveolar group was 595.46 ± 44.8 Hu.At the first week after operation,the average bone density of the cancellous bone grafted with ilium was higher than that of the normal alveolar bone,there was no significant difference between them(P > 0.05);At 3 months postoperatively,the bone density of the ilium group was lower than that of the contralateral alveolar group(P < 0.05).For the cancellous bone of the contralateral alveolar bone,there was no significant difference in the bone tissue density between 1 week and 3 months after operation(P > 0.05);The BMD of iliac cancellous bone was significantly different in 1 week and 3 months after operation(P < 0.05).2.Volume of bone graft: the volume of bone tissue of Ilium Graft at 1 week and 3 months after operation was different(P < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: 1.CBCT software combined with Mimics software is a scientific and feasible method to measure bone tissue quality after alveolar cleft surgery.2.At 3 months after operation,the volume of grafted bone decreased,and the bone mineral density was lower than that of normal alveolar cancellous bone.
