A Case Study On The Improvement Of The Family Resilience In Family With Leukemia Children

Family is a harbor of love for family members to share the same storms and to gather warmth and strength.Children are the crystallization of family love,and some children suffer from critical diseases before they reach adulthood,bringing multiple pressures and crisis challenges that are difficult for the family to bear.Childhood leukemia is a serious condition and is a common malignant tumor of the hematopoietic system.On the one hand,the treatment of childhood leukemia is expensive and the financial burden on the family is heavy.On the other hand,as a major chronic disease,the treatment of childhood leukemia spends a lot of time.Family members need to take care of the children for a long time,and the physical and psychological pressure is heavy.Therefore,the anti-risk ability of leukemia children’s families deserves attention.Research from risk theory shows that the family is the basic unit to resist risks including public health.This study focused on the family field of children with leukemia,based on medical social work practice,to explore the improvement of family resilience.First,based on the theory and literature,the author makes an analysis and summary of existing related research.Secondly,the author focuses on the application of case study and other social work professional research methods to conduct in-depth practical research and formulate case service plans.Under the guidance of family system theory,strength perspective theory,and social risk theory and based on the family resilience structure of scholar Froma Walsh,the author takes the family risk system of leukemia children as the starting point in the implementation phase and comprehensively adopts the integrated perspective analysis of social work mode.With the family belief system as the theme,combined with the main idea of the humanistic treatment model,to stimulate the family resilience;The theme is family organization model,merged the concept of structural family therapy model,in order to develop family elastic force;Family communication process as the topic,merged the crucial concept of family therapy mode,to improve the family resilience.Subsequently,in the stage of practical evaluation and case settlement,the author carries out professional evaluation.By comparing pre-test and post-test with simple event coping style and related scale,the results were evaluated with family,social worker and medical staff,it is concluded that the case service is more effective.As a result,relevant conclusions are drawn and the effectiveness and deficiencies in case work are reflected.This research with plump resources is highly practical because it is an exploration ofpractical actions in the context of medical social work practice.The author pays attention to social resources and endeavors to strengthen the family resilience of leukemia children.This article hopes to provide relevant experience for the family social work service of children with leukemia in China,arouse social attention to the family groups of children with leukemia and promote the positive development of medical social work in China.
