| Objective: To study the effects of kangaroo mother care on basic vital signs of preterm birth. In addition,to study the effect of kangaroo mother care on complications during preterm hospitalization in preterm infants.Furthermore,to study the effect of kangaroo mother care on maternal anxiety.Method: Select the Newborn Intensive Care Unit(NICU)of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, premature infants, low birth weight infants(28-34 weeks of gestational age or birth weight ≤ 2kg),newborns with relatively stable vital signs, and implement kangaroo mother care.Sixty newborns were in the kangaroo mother care group, and 51 newborns who could not participate in kangaroo mother care due to personal reasons were the control group. The general conditions of the two groups of preterm infants at admission were compared. After the kangaroo mother care group was implemented, the increment of milk, weight gain, and oxygen consumption time were compared. The feeding intolerance, the reinfection and the incidence of grade III and above intracranial hemorrhage were compared between the neonatal and conventional groups in the kangaroo therapy group, and the effects of kangaroo therapy on complications were evaluated.Comparing the exclusive breastfeeding rate and breastfeeding rate between the two groups of women at the time of discharge,it was evaluated whether there was a difference between the kangaroo mother care group and the control group. Before the mother of the kangaroo mother care group was treated with kangaroo mother care, and after 3 days of kangaroo mother care, the anxiety scale was used, and the anxiety before and after was compared to evaluate whether there was a difference. Results: 1)The prevalence of preterm infants in the two groups was compared and the difference was not statistically significant.2)The kangaroo-type therapy group increased the milk volume by 26.37±5.17 ml per day, which was 20.56±5.97 ml compared with the conventional control group. The oral milk volume increased, and the weight of the kangaroo-type therapy group increased by 17.03±3.99 kg per day, which was 12.54± compared with the conventional control group.2.64 kg,the body weight increased earlier, the oxygen time of the kangaroo therapy group was 11.30±3.98 d compared with the conventional control group 15.78±3.23 d,the oxygen time was reduced earlier, and the total feeding time of the kangaroo therapy group was 16.30± 2.92 d was 24.59±4.18 d compared with the conventional control group, and the total intestinal feeding time was shortened.3)The comparison of feeding intolerance was less than that of the control group. The incidence of reinfection and the occurrence of grade III and above intracranial hemorrhage, the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage did not increase significantly.4)The exclusive breastfeeding rate of the kangaroo therapy group was 78%,the exclusive breastfeeding rate of the conventional control group was 47%,the exclusive breastfeeding rate increased, the breastfeeding rate of the kangaroo therapy group was 56%,and the breastfeeding rate of the conventional control group was 42%.There was no significant increase in breastfeeding rates in the kangaroo therapy group.5)The anxiety of the mothers in the kangaroo therapy group was statistically significant. Conclusions: 1)Compared with the control group, the kangaroo mother care group gained weight, shortened the oxygen consumption time, shortened the total intestinal feeding time, and reduced the hospitalization days.2)Kangaroo mother care can reduce the incidence of neonatal feeding intolerance. The reinfection rate and the incidence of grade III and above intracranial hemorrhage did not increase significantly.3)Kangaroo mother care can reduce the rate of postpartum breastfeeding and increase the amount of breastfeeding.4)Kangaroo mother care can alleviate maternal anxiety and reduce postpartum depression. |
