Therapeutic Evaluation Of Yunpi Huatan Tongqiao Decoction For Upper Airway Cough Syndrome(The Type Of Spleen-deficiency And Phlegm-stagnation)

Objective:Explore the curative effect on therapy of Yunpi Huatan Tongqiao decoctionon children UACS with Spleen-deficiency and Phlegm-stagnation.Methods: Children with Upper airway cough syndrome(the type of Spleen-deficiency and Phlegm-stagnation)were randomly divided into treatment group 、 western medicine control group and Chinese medicine control group.The treatment group was treated with Yunpi Huatan Tongqiao Decoction.The western medicine control group was treated with peroral Montelukast Sodium and Medicine placebo(1/10 agent of Yunpi Huatan Tongqiao Decoction).The Chinese medicine control group was treated with Yupingfeng Granules.All the cases in each group should take the medicine for three months.Observe children clinical symptoms degree about cough,phlegm,nasal obstruction,sneezing,itchy pharynx,postnasal drip and pharyngeal examination;secondary TCM syndrome about vigor,complexion,sleep,appetite,loose stools;the tongue & pulse.Results:The total effective rate of the disease curative effect in treatment group、western medicine control group and Chinese medicine control group was 91.4%、87.5% and 81.8% respectively.The disease curative effect of treatment group was obviously better than western medicine control group and Chinese medicine control group(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the TCM syndrome curative effect in treatment group、western medicine control group and Chinese medicine control group was 94.3%、56.2% and 84.8% respectively.The TCM syndrome curative effect of treatment group was superior to western medicine control group and Chinese medicine control group(P<0.05).Treatment group was better than western medicine control group and Chinese medicine control group in holistic improvement about cough,phlegm,nasal obstruction,sneezing,itchy pharynx,postnasal drip,pharyngeal examination,summation of primary symptoms,sleep,loose stools(P <0.05).After 3months of medication,treatment group wasbetter than another two groups about cough,phlegm,postnasal drip,summation of primary symptoms,sleep,appetite,loose stools,summation of secondary symptoms(P<0.05).Conclusion:.It is obvious result that Yunpi Huatan Tongqiao Decoction is effectivein treating children UACS.
