Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis With The Method Of Invigorating Lung And Removing Blood Stasis

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of yifei zhuyu decoction combined with glucocorticoid prednisone in the treatment of clinical rare disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF),and to provide a reference for the clinical treatment of IPF by reducing the dosage of prednisone,and to further promote the application of traditional Chinese medicine in the clinical treatment of IPF.Methods:Forty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups according to 1:1,with 20 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with yifei zhuyu decoction combined with prednisone,while the control group was treated with prednisone alone.The observation time of patients in the two groups was 6 months.The differences in HRCT score,TCM syndrome quantitative total score,prednisone dosage,SGRQ qol score and 6-minute walking distance between the two groups before and after treatment were observed and analyzed.Results:1.A total of 37 patients successfully completed this clinical study,including19 patients in the treatment group and 18 patients in the control group.2.After treatment,HRCT score of the treatment group was not significantly changed(P > 0.05),while that of the control group was significantly increased(P < 0.05).HRCT score of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.05),and the proportion of the number of patients with increased HRCT score of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P< 0.05).The proportion of halved prednisone dosage in the treatment group wassignificantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).3.After treatment,the total score of TCM syndrome quantification,total score of SGRQ qol and 6-minute walking distance in the treatment group were significantly improved(P < 0.05),while the three data in the control group were not significantly improved(P > 0.05).Three data points of the treatment group were significantly better than those of the control group(P < 0.05).4.At the end of observation,there were no obvious abnormal changes in routine indexes(blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function,electrocardiogram).Conclusions:1.Yifei zhuyu decoction combined with prednisone in the treatment of IPF can effectively delay the process of pulmonary fibrosis,significantly improve its symptoms such as wheezing,coughing,sputum cough and shortness of breath,improve the efficacy of TCM syndromes of patients,and improve the quality of life of patients.2.Yifei zhuyu decoction can effectively reduce the dosage of prednisone in some patients and gradually replace the treatment of prednisone in IPF.3.Yifei zhuyu decoction combined with prednisone in the treatment of IPF has no obvious adverse reactions and is safe and feasible.
