In recent years, acquisition of infants’ racial preferences has been an important issue,in preschool-aged infants’ race-related research fields,.Previous studies found that adult plays an important role in the formation of racial preferences in infants. In this study, the research objects are Han preschoolers. To test their behavior under different nonverbal Han adults exemplary case of out-group members,in order to verify the role of non-verbal behavior of adults play in the formation of racial preferences in infants.Experiment 1: the use of a 2(verbal: positive vs.neutral)× 2(non-verbal: positive vs.negative)between subjects design,to investigate the different impact of adult’s verbal and non-verbal behavior on infants’ racial preferences. The results show that: Compared with negative nonverbal behavior, when express positive non-verbal behavior, children in adult relationships, personal attitudes, helping times, reactions on the number of candy were significantly more active. In addition, the verbal behavior positive and neutral contexts, there is no difference in the subjects.Experiment 2: using a 2(non-verbal: positive vs.negative)× 3(delay measurement:immediately, interspersed reading vs delayed two days.)between subjects experimental design,to explore delayed effects of non-verbal behavior in adults on infants’ racial preferences. The results show that: Compared with negative nonverbal behavior, when express positive adult non-verbal behavior, infants in adult relationships, personal attitudes, helping times, reactions on the number of candy and were significantly more active. In addition, measuring the three cases: real-time measurements, delayed two days and intersperse reading, there is no significant difference in the impact of non-verbal behavior of adult for infants.Experiment 3: The first phase of the experiment, using 2(non-verbal: positive vs.negative)× 3(delay measurement :immediately, delayed two days vs.interspersed reading)between-subjects experimental design,to explore the non-verbal behavior of adult for infants’ racial preferences delay effects. The results are consistent with the experiment two.The second stage of experiment,using2(non-verbal: positive vs.negative)× 2(new adult race:han vs.minority)× 3(delay measurement: immediately, delayed two days vs.interspersed Reading). To investigate the impact of non-verbal behavior of adult on infants has generalized, and this generalization also have delayed effects. The results show that:compared with negative nonverbal behavior, when the express positive non-verbal behavior, infants in the new adult relationship,a new personal attitude,a new number on the new response times to help, the candy numbers were significantly more active. However,in real-time measurements, delayed two days, interspersed reading;after measuring the three cases, there was no significant difference in the impact of non-verbal behavior of adult for infants.
