| With the strengthening of national development of professional education,vocational education and the development of higher vocational colleges has been more and more attention and recognition.National medium and long-term plan for education reform and development(2010-2020),it proposes that we should develop vocational education,and improve the quality of teaching.It has not only brought the opportunities for the development of vocational colleges,but also presented the demands about teaching quality of vocational colleges.As the expansion of college enrollment and the complexities of sources of students,classroom teaching management become the key to improve the qualities of teaching.Based on the summary and analysis of the experience of the domestic research of classroom teaching management,and starting from the status of English classroom teaching management of J Vocational College and the author’s practical experience in English course teaching,this article proposes the statues and problems of English teaching management in J Vocational College,through the experiences of practical teaching and the observation from different status of classroom teaching management.Through talking with English teachers and students,the author knows the statues both teachers and students and the problems about relations between teachers and students.Analyzing the reasons of those problems,it could find the corresponding strategies to improve the level of classroom teaching management:Firstly,colleges should pay attention to the construction of basic subjects,such as English course.It also should carry out the disciplines of examinations strictly.At the same time,the department should implement students’ attendance system,and set up the system of rewards and punishments.Secondly,teachers should improve their own comprehensive qualities,create good classroom teaching-and-learning environment and various activities to stimulate students’ studying interests and harmonize the relation between students and teachers.Thirdly,college and teachers should use various methods to cultivate students’ abilities of autonomic learning and self-management. |
