A Survey Report On Gansu Language Service Industry Based On SWOT Analysis In The Belt And Road Initiative

The intercommunication of language and culture is the basic work for the construction of the Belt and Road.Language services are fundamental and serve as pioneer in the construction of the Belt and Road which put humanity first.In terms of the improvement of the language services ability,the core is its talents,and the most fundamental is to vigorously develop language service industry.With the Belt and Road Initiative being implemented in our country,the language service industry is flourishing and different and rich needs for translators of the language service industry are increasing day by day.The overall construction of the Belt and Road provides an unprecedented opportunity for the development of Gansu language service industry.Gansu province strives to build Gansu into the golden passageway of the Silk Road Economic Belt.Therefore,the development of language service industry of Gansu Province under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative to meet the current needs of the national strategies and the society and itself economic and cultural development,which is of great importance.This survey report focuses on SWOT analysis of Gansu language service industry under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative,mainly using the ways of questionnaire and interview.The survey aims at analyzing the development of Gansu language service industry based on the SWOT analysis method,which will analyze the current development situation of the industry from the following aspects of the strengths(S),the weaknesses(W),the opportunities(O),and the threats(T)and finally puts forward some suggestions about the development of language service industry under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative,with hope to provide a reference to the development of Gansu language service industry.The survey report is composed of the following six parts: The first part is to give a general introduction to its background,purpose and significance,main contents in the survey;the second part is literature reviews of SWOT analysis and language service industry;the third part the survey’s methodology,of which questions,subjects,instruments and methods are introduced in details;the fourth part is the process of the survey,including two parts.The first part is advance-phrase preparation,the second part is survey implementation and data collection.The fifth part is data analysis,as the core contents in the survey report,launched in three steps,respectively include basic information of the survey Samples;SWOT analysis of Gansu language service industry which are Strengths analysis,Weaknesses analysis Opportunities analysis and Threats analysis;development strategies of Gansu language service industry which contain SO strategy,ST strategy,WO strategy,WT strategy,detailed in Table5-1 SWOT matrixanalysis of this part.The last part is conclusion,in which major findings and suggestions,as well as limitations of the survey are made.
