A New Understanding Of Modern Chinese Distinguishing Words

As a specific part of the word,Modern Chinese distinguishing words widely accepted by the Chinese grammar researchers,their distinction between the word has never stopped.However,there seems to be a lot of problems worthy of analysis and research in this field of study.We note that scholars are not uniform for the title of this category;in the papers and dictionaries,the scholars of this word category also has a great discrepancy.These can be said that the distinction between word study is more regrettable for us.On the basis of the study of the times,this paper tries to start from the point of view of the actual use of the vocabulary,and put forward some new ideas and opinions with the analysis of the large number of corpus.This article includes a total of the following four parts: First,a brief introduction for the study of the distinguishing words.Second,we re-understand the concept between the three titles: “distinguishing words”,"no predicate-adjective words" and "attribute words".This part is a comprehensive summary and in-depth analysis of the concept of "distinguishing words",we try to clarify the past misunderstandings,put forward the "no predicate adjective words" and "attribute words" problems,and try to solve.Third,through the exhaustive collection of "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(5th,6th Edition),and Lv Shuxiang,Rao Changrong ?s passage about "Discussion of no predicate-adjective words "(1981)and Qi Hu Yang's passage about "Discussion of distinguishing words "(1988),we find distinguishing words to contrasting the differences between them and analyzing the large number of corpus instances with differentiated parts,so as to re-measure the number of distinguishing words and redefine the grammatical features of the distinguishing words.This is also the core and difficult part of the article.Fourth,the internal classification and external classification between the distinguishing words that number has been re-identified.One of the classified criteria is from the internal structure of the distinguishing words.These wordsare divided into monosyllabic and multi-syllable two categories.The other classified criteria is the external function of the distinguishing words.According to the matching ability with “de” when distinguishing words modified the noun and the attributive function of distinguishing words,we can classified distinguishing words into different parts.
