Research On The Origin Of The Word "Diance" In Ancient China

The word "Diance" is a typical comprehensive document noun in ancient China,with multiple document meanings.It was produced earlier and maintained a strong continuity in application,but the frequency of use was low.The ancient government used more,but the folk rarely used,was applied to the ancestral temple worship ancestors,pray for the year and war and so on.The paper takes the retrieval system of "Guoxue database" as the research base,according to the retrieval results,combined with the historical background of ancient China’s political,economic,cultural,social life and language habits in different periods.First,starting from Oracle Bone Inscriptions and inscriptions on bronze,the two monosyllabic words of "dian" and "ce" which constitute the word "Diance" are tested and explained;Secondly,the precise determination of the origin of the word "Diance" is made to analyze when it is formed(time),how to form(conditions),cause(meaning)and its original meaning,and it will also help to understand the development and evolution of monosyllabic nouns and polysyllabic nouns;Thirdly,by using the method of text analysis,the relevant sentences in the ancient literature are examined thoroughly and carefully,and the thinking mode of "transverse and longitudinal comprehensive analysis" is used to discuss(the meaning is horizontal and the time is vertical),at the same time,examples of typical documents are enumerated and explained,and the development and evolution of the word in each dynasty are discussed comprehensively by means of data statistics,quantitative analysis and history;Finally,combined with the research results of the previous sections,this paper concludes and summarizes the overall application(methods,fields),characteristics and rules of this word.
