On Ben-Gurion’s Government Of Management And Development In The Negev

The Negev area is located in the southern part of the State of Israel and accounts for more than half of the country’s total area.But the land is sparsely populated,poor and lack of water.The development of this area has always been the focus of Israel’s development.Before the founding of the country,Ben-Gurion foresaw the importance of the Negev area to the newly-born State of Israel.He organized himself in Zionist organizations,actively participated in the diplomatic lobbying.countries,and made every effort in the international division of the United Nations Conference about the division of Jewish country and Arabia as to obtain the Negev area.Faced with the severe security situation,the immigration from all over the world,the Israeli government with Ben-Gurion as the core of its leadership has devoted great efforts and management,drastically regulated the development of the Negev area in the south in order to expand the space for Israel’s survival and development.The Ben-Gurion government set up military factories in the Negev area and develop nuclear forces,built national water projects to develop desert agriculture,carried out industrial production,attracted resettlement migrants,and set up Ben-Gurion University to carry out scientific research.Under the leadership of the government,the Israeli people relied on their hard work and wisdom to let the desert bloom flowers.The governance and development of the Negev area had expanded the living space of Israel.The development of military strength had enhanced the national defense strength and enabled Israel to establish itself in the Middle East.The economic development had contributed to the national economy and created jobs for immigrants.The innovation of science and technology had transformed deserts and myths became a reality.The special religious status had enhanced the cohesion of Jews.In the process of developing and governing the Negev area,Israel accumulated a lot of experience,which provides experience for China’s western development to obtain sustainable development of population,resources,and the environment.
