The affix is a unit between root and affix in Modern Chinese,the knowledge of quasi-affix has been studied and it has been used in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.There is a kind of affix created by Internet,because of using optionally and chaotically,it hasn't been focused by academic circle nowadays.So there are not many references,but the learners of Chinese language meet derivative created by this quasi-affix in daily communication.For the sake of settling this issue better,we choose the respective word “dog” and combine with research of predecessor to analyze and give some advice in education.We hope for that will offer reference in later teaching about quasi-affix.In process of study,we mainly use methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey,corpus analysis and so on.Firstly,we define the quasi-affix about ”dog” according to the standard of predecessor.Secondly,we analyze concretely of quasi-affix “dog” and its derivative.Thirdly,we analyze the process of grammaticalization and reasons of formation in order to show the change of psychology about contemporary and situation of modern Chinese.Last one,we analyze problems about knowing and comprehending quasi-affix of dog with questionnaire and relevant knowledge of quasi-affix “dog”.We find the difficulties mostly in understanding of concept,the determination of emotional color and meaning of words in context.Finally,according to the research and thinking about quasi-affix of “dog”,we give our advice about learning the kind of affix in order to assist Chinese learners to grasp better about quasi-affix and deepen their understanding.
