With the increase of the number of Chinese learners in the world,the cause of international Chinese education has made great progress,and more and more attention has been paid to this cause.Experts and scholars also attach great importance to the teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language.The development and utilization of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,but most of the existing textbooks are general Chinese teaching materials,which can not meet the specific learning needs of learners from different countries.Therefore,in recent years,the localization of Chinese teaching materials has become a trend,but the number is still small.Therefore,through the comparative analysis of Senegal’s localization textbook "introduction to Chinese" and the "New practical Chinese textbook 1(French version)",this paper finds out the characteristics of these two textbooks,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these two textbooks.And then put forward some suggestions for the compilation of teaching materials..The main contents of this paper are three parts.The first part is the introduction of the basic situation of the two textbooks,including the compiling principles of the two textbooks,the main sections of the textbooks and the main contents of each plate.The second part is the main part of the paper,that is,the two textbooks from the language knowledge,cultural knowledge and practice of three major aspects of comparative analysis,analysis of the two textbooks in these three aspects of the characteristics.Then the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks are obtained,and the author’s evaluation of the two textbooks is given.The third part is a summary of the previous analysis,analyzing the characteristics of the two textbooks from the perspective of the principles of compiling textbooks for Chinese as a foreign language,synthetically analyzing the results,and putting forward their own views for the compilation of textbooks in the future.
