Culture is a nation’s genetic identification.Huxiang culture has evolved from traditional Chinese culture,and with its unique cultural genes,it has become an indispensable part of the world’s cultural heritage.In the context of the flourishing development of the cultural industry,in view of the problems arising from the development of the black tea packaging design under the local context,the research ideas are based on the local culture of Huxiang,inheriting and developing excellent Huxiang cultural tradition and carrying forward the aesthetic spirit of Huxiang as a starting point,based on the modern design theory.To extract the visual cultural elements of Huxiang and sort out its categories,try to sum up the feasible methods to improve the packaging design practice of the local black tea products with the visual culture elements of Huxiang and Hunan.This article is divided into six parts:The first part:introduction,the background of this topic,the dynamics of topic selection,the method of topic selection,the purpose and significance of topic selection are discussed.The second part:mainly discusses Huxiang culture and design localization trend,"global thinking,local action" is the localization trend of design.The third part:exploring and refining Hunan visual culture elements.The typical visual culture elements of Hunan culture and intangible culture are classified and extracted from different levels.The fourth part analyzes the feasibility of combining Hunan visual culture elements with local black tea packaging design.The regional cultural characteristics,the production and marketing history of the main black tea producing areas in the local context,the morphological changes of the black tea packaging design and the main problems of the existence of the black tea,are analyzed in detail.The fifth part:the practice and application of Hu Xiang’s visual culture elements in the local black tea packaging design.The author tries to analyze and summarize the two different packaging works of black tea brand that I have personally participated in.The sixth part is the embodiment of the aesthetic spirit of Hu Xiang’s visual culture elements.Through the combination of Huxiang visual cultural elements and black tea product packaging,we hope to disseminate the recognizable Huxiang culture and Chinese culture,transmit the cultural spirit of Huxiang and Chinese civilization,highlight the aesthetic spirit of the visual cultural elements of Huxiang,carry forward the Chinese aesthetic spirit,and have some enlightenment to the corresponding product designers.Significance。This article hopes to provide reference for the application of Hunan visual culture elements in the local black tea packaging design through case analysis and design practice.Through the design of local black tea product packaging and the combination of the visual aesthetics of Huxiang cultural elements,the "visual" cultural spirit and aesthetic form are formed,the black tea industry chain and the consumption chain are involved,and the Chinese traditional culture and Huxiang culture are refined in the daily consumption.
