The Study To Techniquecharacter Of Stockhausen’s Cosmic Pulses

Karlheinz Stockhausen(1928-2007),the most important contemporary German composer,music theorist and music educator.His creative genres are extensive and involve a variety of fields.His electronic music works have been staged in major electronic music festivals in the world,and he is one of the contemporary composers with a high rate of works.This article selects Cosmic Pulses,the thirteenth episode of the electronic music suite “Sound”(Klang)created by Stockhausen in 2004.This article studies the creative background,creative thinking and technical means of this work,and explores the aesthetic concept of the composer,the creative idea of the work,the characteristics and value of the work.Through the analysis of the organization of the work,music structure and other aspects,draw more valuable conclusions.This thesis consists of three parts: introduction,text(two chapters)and conclusion:Introduction: Give a brief overview of the cause of the topic and the composer’s life,and briefly review the research status of the department’s works at home and abroad.The first chapter: Analysis of the techniques used in "The Pulse of the Universe".Which involves the background of the work,music materials and creative ideas.And from the structural form,all levels of content,movement patterns,space movement and sound perception and other aspects of the work to make specific analysis.Chapter 2: Exploring and researching the sound aspects of "The Pulse of the Universe".Concluding remarks: The author summarizes and summarizes the creative characteristics of these three works and the style of personal music of Stockhausen is reflected in the pursuit of the spatialization of electronic music.
