| Senior high school students generally refer to teenagers aged 15 to 18.This stage is a transitional stage from young people to adulthood.It is also the key period for development of intelligence,emotion and sound personality.How to help senior high school students with sound personality is an important topic in the current youth education in this period.Therefore,From the current situation of research,In china,There are few researches on personality structure and characteristics of personality development.The research conclusions are not the same due to difference of research methods.This brings great difficulties to research conclusion comparison and extensive use.In this dissertation,The theory model of personality structure was established being based on indigenous culture.In accordance with model,The senior high school student’s valid personality questionnaire was developed.The development characteristics of senior high school student personality were analyzed in the light of different grade and gender.enrich personality development theory of adolescent personality and lay academic basis on exploring the cultivation mode of sound personality for senior high school students.This dissertation includes following contents and conclusions:Study 1: Adjectives suitable for senior high school student’s personality were collected by means of students,partner and teachers’ s description.Qualitative research was carried out from top to bottom in light of adjectives.The descriptive personality structure for high school students was theoretically established through coding,induction and classification.The results indicate that the descriptive personality structure of senior high school students is composed of 5 broad demarcations,17 attributes and 52 specific traits.Study 2: In accordance with the descriptive personality structure of senior high school students,The initial personality questionnaire was developed in combination with survey and interview.After expert’s rating,item-analyzing,explorative and confirmative factor analysis,The hierarchical model of personality structure for senior high school students was established and the formal personality questionnaire was drew up.The results show that senior high school student’s personality hierarchy was composed of 5 dimensions which are pro-socialism,Intelligent Features,Self-Control,Extraversion and emotion stability and 15 subordinate traits.The personality questionnaire with high reliability and validity can be used to study senior high student’s personality as measurement tool.Study 3: The measurement data of formal personality questionnaire was analyzed statistically.and the characteristics of senior high school student’s personality was studied.The results indicate that there are significant grade difference in self-control,intelligent feature and extraversion.The score in all dimensions increases from senior 1 to senior 2.However,The score in all personality dimensions decreases from senior 2 to senior 3.The Score of senior 3 in personality dimensions is lowest.On the whole,The senior high school student’s personality development trend is relatively stable.The girls have significantly higher score than boys in pro-socialism.There are not significant gender difference in other dimensions.The significant interaction between grade and gender was not found. |
