| Jin Mancheng,a Sichuan writer and translator,haswritten a series of love novels with individual characteristics from the the1920 s.Influenced by the two literary trends of "naturalism" and "realism",his love novels show a literary narrative style combined with "nature" and "reality",which has become the biggest highlight of his love novels.Comparedto his translations,his novels are seldom studied and criticized.On this basis,the analysis of Jin Man Cheng’s love novels contributes to the development ofliterature in Sichuan area.More importantly,the love novels of Jin Mancheng as the starting point,find the development track of this literary narrative style,and provides a new direction for scholars to explore "naturalism" in China.The first part of the paper mainly interprets the relationship between "naturalism" and "realism".It is generally speaking from two aspects: the origin of "naturalism".the similarities and differences between the two narrative styles of "naturalism" and "realism".The second part of the thesis describes the literary features of Jin Mancheng’s love novels as awhole.Influenced by the ideological trend of French literature,Jin Man-cheng created a series of love novels with the characteristics of naturalism and realism.This literary narrative style is embodied in these aspects:first,he pursued a realistic and objective writing attitude,and attach importance to the role of the environment;Second,he used the method of "naturalism" to express the concern for women and criticism towards society.In short,Jin Man-cheng create the literary works with humanitarianand critical spirit.The third part of the thesis that combs the narrative tendency of "naturalism" in the 1920 s love novels.On this basis,it compared with Jin Mancheng’s love novels.The fourth part of the paper that combs the disappearance and revival of this particular literary form in China,and thinks about the development possibilitiesandmethods of this literary narrative form.The fifth part of the paper that certain the value and significance of Jin Mancheng’s love novels through the comparison of novels with the tendency of "naturalism" in the same period. |
