The Translation Studies For Yu Hua's Works In Vietnam

There are a large number of Chinese contemporary literary works translated in Vietnam.Yu Hua,one of the top three writers whose works are translated in many countries,is also popular in Vietnam." To Live" and "Brothers" are two representative novels of Yu Hua and the process that two works translated in Vietnam is different.Because in the meantime,Vietnam became a member of the Berne Convention copyright treaty.The study contributes to show the situation Chinese contemporary literature in Vietnam.This paper analyzes the translation quality and the translation skills used by the translator by comparing the original text and the translated text.At the same time,it examines the acceptance of the Vietnamese readers after the translation of the works,which roughly reflects the whole process from translation,publication and then to the readers.Through the research,we come to the conclusions: the translation of the two works is the successful case.The translator and publishing house play an important role.Although there are misinterpretation and missing translation in the process,the proportion is relatively small.The model “Go globally” of the works is still worth learning.
