In 2016,a Phenomenal TV drama "Ode to Joy" appeared on the television screen of our country.Regarding the keywords of this drama, some people say that it is joy, some people say that they are women, and others say it is a reality. In short,it enters people’s field of vision with great controversy and topicality. There are many factors influencing the play of this TV series, but they are mainly summarized as follows:First, effective satisfaction with market demands;secondly, accurate grasp of social mentality;and third, flexible use of mainstream-discourse.If further consideration,we can see that the essence of the conflict is the subject of this drama. The American drama master Robert McGee said:"If there is no conflict, everything in the story cannot move forward." In fact, the conflict includes both narrative content and narrative techniques and narrative techniques. It is the internal driving force in the narrative process, which promotes the development and change of the story and enables the characters in the play to be shaped and become plump. The narrative thread of the TV drama "Ode to Joy" is a love story of five women. It is the gender conflict that accompanies them.Since the emergence of human society, gender differences have existed.Although"Ode to Joy" has shaped an independent and independent female image for us in the new era, both Qiu Yingying and Guan Juer, both in the relatively active position of Andy and Qu Xiaoxiao, and in a passive position, have suffered emotionally and Deception,or choose compromise and concession. This is actually a "stereotype" of the gender that the mass media has shaped for us.It reflects the inherent stereotypes between the sexes and society.Behind the gender conflict is the male-dominated consciousness that has been accumulated in Chinese traditional society for thousands of years. However, with the economic development and social progress, the binary opposition between the sexes is dispelling, and women’s sense of autonomy is also awakening.People expect that both men and women will have free and equal rights in the process of building intimate relationships. The narrative line of the TV drama "Ode to Joy" is the stratification and stratum conflicts in the play. The five women in the play originally belonged to different classes and different backgrounds, because they lived together on the 22nd floor of the Joy House. In the play,we see the daily contradictions that they cause due to different lifestyles, because of the entanglements caused by differences in ideology and concepts, and the drama conflicts created by the social capital gap.Behind the stratum conflicts, the real existence of stratum solidification and stratum flow cannot be ignored. In the real world, people of course desire to be able to break the solidification of the stratum, free and comfortable flow between strata, and hope that the social strata can coexist harmoniously. The TV drama "Ode to Joy" also depicts a beautiful vision of solidifying the friendship with the "five beauty" friendship, but we must also realize that this is only a utopia of images.Differences and conflicts between different classes cannot be ignored at last.It is also insurmountable. In turn, the TV drama "Ode to Joy" built a new landscape for us.Its narrative style can be summarized as follows:distinctive narrative theme and character image,multi-line intertwined narrative clues, and prolongation and climax in narrative. However,we must have clear-headed cognition and rational reflection on anything, especially the phenomenon-level TV drama. The highlights of it are worth learning and learning from.Specifically, the drama brings us inspiration from several aspects:Character image:Emphasizes the innovation of the times while inheriting the prototype;Narrative structure:Structuring structural tension with contradictions and conflicts;Cultural connotation:Promoting social integration with image reproduction.
