Carrying Forward Research Of The Craftsman Spirit

The craftsmanship spirit,with the cohesion of the extreme pursuit of craft,the engagement of the profession and the firm belief in virtue from craftsmen,has been advocated since ancient time in China.However,due to the historical development and evolution,craftsmanship spirit has experienced several stages of forming,producing,developing and inheriting.The first time to put forward to “nurture the excelsior craftsmanship spirit” was in the 2016 Government Work Report,and the second one was proposed to promote the craftsmanship spirit in the 2018 Government Work Report.Nurturing and promoting the craftsmanship spirit as well as revitalizing the quality of manufacturing power have been imperative.It originated from the traditional handicraft era and was connected closely with traditional craft.The historical origin,the development and the current situation of its inherence have been expounded in this paper,which,taking the ivory carving technique,the national intangible cultural heritage project,as an example,has proposed specific suggestions for the inherence and development of Beijing Ivory Carving Techniques after studying and analyzing its historical development,transmission spectrum and situation and through angles of policy,talents,works,raw materials and promotion.Through analysis on the craftsmanship spirit of Beijing Ivory Carving Techniques,thoughts on nurturing and promoting the craftsmanship spirit have been invoked and some solutions and suggestions have also been put forward to revitalize the spirit of manufacturing power...
