| As an important classification of adverbs,modal adverbs play an important part in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.But because of its flexible usage and strong subjective color,it is difficult for foreign students to differentiate all kinds of modal adverbs when they learn modal adverbs.Therefore,they are more likely to make mistakes in learning modal adverbs,and then,it may cause learning difficulties.This paper selects two modal adverbs of "Juran" and "Jingran",which have similarities in semantics,syntax and pragmatics.They are frequently used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,when using these two words,the foreign students may mix up their usages.Based on the research of data acquisition of students at the Beijing Language and Culture University corpus and the Jinan University corpus,I will collate and summarize the foreign students’ type of error in using "Juran" and "Jingran",to explore the main causes of errors,and put forward related foreign language teaching strategies to help students effectively learn and master these two modal adverbs.The first part is the introduction.This part mainly expounds the basis and significance of the topic selection,summarizes the research about the modal adverbs "Juran" and "Jingran",analyzes the shortcomings in the current research,and further discusses the significance of the topic selection.The second part is the exploration of the noumenon knowledge of the modal adverb "Juran" and "Jingran".On the basis of combining the research results of the existing literatures,we compare and analyze the two words from the three planes of semantics,syntax and pragmatics,and explore the similarities and differences between the two words in the ontology language knowledge.The third part explores the error of foreign students’ acquisition.Through the study of Beijing Language and Culture University corpus and the Jinan University corpus,the two tone adverbs errors of "Juran" and "Jingran" which are used by international students can be classified into four types:using redundant,incomplete,reverse order and confusion.The fourth part is the analysis of the causes of errors.The causes of errors are divided into five aspects:the complexity and difficulty of the Chinese modal adverbs,negative transfer of mother tongue,foreign student’s personal factors,teachers’ teaching and the reasons for learning materials,focusing on three aspects:language perspective,foreign students and teachers’ teaching.Through the analysis of the above errors,we can further understand the causes of errors in learning modal adverbs "Juran" and "Jingran",and provide guidance for later teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The suggestions of teaching Chinese as a foreign language focus on three aspects:individual students,teachers’ teaching and learning materials,on the basis of the comprehensive causes of errors,puts forward the related Chinese teaching design to guide the teaching Chinese as a foreign language of the modal adverbs "Juran" and "Jingran".The sixth part is a summary of the full text. |
