With the rapid development of society,people's pace of life is accelerating,and the mental pressure is also continuously increasing.Obviously,in such a social state,many people in the visual aesthetic concept has abandoned those tedious,grandiose decorative effect,but more advocate and pursue in the simplified design style.The elements of "Chinese style" have many forms of expression in poster design,such as ink,calligraphy,paper-cutting,poetry and so on.Among them,many designers have integrated the idea of "whiteness" and "emptiness" to create a simple,pure and yet maintaining the oriental color of the aesthetic sense,which is in line with the aesthetic taste that people are now pursuing.Therefore,the concept of "white" and "empty" in the modern poster design is an indispensable means of expression,for its implied artistic charm in-depth exploration,has important theoretical value and research significance.The so-called "white" and "empty",is the essence of Eastern philosophy,but also for the countless poets and artists throughout the agesto pursue as the highest realm,especially the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei as the representative.Today,"White" and "empty" as a design concept in graphic art design,represent a simplified design trend,and have been widely used in the "Chinese style" poster design.It is mainly represented by Mr Kan Tai-keung,a Hong Kong designer in each of his posters,usually can see a large blank,the composition of the simple bright,with no disturbance,both with the Oriental charm,but also the beauty of simplicity to attract the eye of the viewer.The author starts with the idea of "white" and "empty",and then explores the essence of "Chinese style" poster design,that is,the beauty of its charm.This kind of charm is embodied in the beauty of artistic conception,which is powerful,graceful,elegant,or empty,thus realizing the metaphysical philosophical thought of "Taoism" and reaching the highest artistic aesthetic state,which makes people have endless aftertaste.This subject is to adopt "white" and "empty" as a breakthrough point,in the "Chinese style" poster design application of the charm of the theoretical analysis and exploration.Chapter 1:The basic concepts of "white" and "empty" and the subtle relationship between "white" and "empty" are expounded in detail.Chapter 2: First of all,the basic connotation of "Chinese style" and poster design is summarized.Secondly,the "Chinese style" in the poster design in the form of a summary,and respectively launches a specific analysis.Chapter 3: The performance of the application of "White" and "empty" in the poster design of "Chinese Style" is discussed in detail.Chapter 4: This paper probes into the flavor of "white" and "empty" in the poster design of "Chinese style" and the theory of understanding the Taoism.
