The Performance And Application Of Metallic Materials In Decorative Sculptures

The rapid development of society makes people’s pursuit of aesthetics continue to improve.Today,decorative sculptures have been widely used in people’s daily lives and become more and more important.As an artist’s artistic carrier for expressing personal style,materials play an important role in the development of decorative sculpture.The use of different kinds of materials in the creation of decorative sculptures has promoted the diversity of decorative art language.Metals are the more commonly used types of materials in decorative sculptures.With the rapid development of industrialization,the use of metallic materials has epoch-making significance in decorative sculpture.The continuous progress in the processing technology and technical means of metal materials,and the continuous synthesis and discovery of new materials have enabled the decorative sculptures to constantly open up new development spaces in the process of enrichment and improvement.This paper mainly uses the reading method,the case analysis method and the field investigation method.First of all,it expounds the general classification and basic characteristics of metal materials.Secondly,it sums up the development and evolution of metal materials and decorative sculptures in materials,technologies and modeling.Then it focuses on the express characteristics of decorative sculptures made of metal materials and conducts concrete analysis through specific cases as a reference for the creation of graduation designs.Graduation creation is a creative practice in the process of exploration and research.Through the exploration and analysis of each procedure in the creation process of the work,it tries to make a practical inductive and theoretical reflection on the relevant theories of metal decorative sculpture art.
