There is long history of the Chinese education in Korea.However,until now,there is no enough research materials related to the Chinese language education history in Korea of the Japanese Colonial Rule(1910-1945).That is why the entire history of Chinese education in Korea cannot be depicted.In this respect,this paper studies about two textbooks “Hanyudacheng” and “Zhinayudahai”,which were published during the Japanese colonial period,using a documentary method,comparative method and so on.By comparing the time period,educational policy,composition,content,topics etc.of the two textbooks,I draw the conclusion about similarities and differences as well as characteristics between the two books.I hope that this study will support research of Chinese education history and serve as a reference material of Korea’s Chinese education history in the Japanese colonial period.This study consists of six chapters.The first chapter introduces the origin of topic selection,object and meaning of the study,situation of the study and the study methods.The second chapter focuses on the historical background.It mainly analyzes the period of the Japanese colonialism and explains its educational policy.The third chapter is about the style and the content of two textbooks.It introduces the author and observes its content of two textbooks.Then,it compares with the style of two books.The forth chapter is about the topic and it analyzes and compares with each material’s common topic in conversation.Furthermore,it can observe the sociocultural factors in Korea of the Japanese colonial rule.The fifth chapter is about word.It observes the word characteristics of two textbooks.Then,it explains the analysis result of similarities and differences between “Hanyudacheng” and “Zhinayudahai” or between two books and contemporary Chinese.The sixth chapter,I draw thirteen conclusions on the basis of the whole study.
