The adaptation of piano music started in China in the 1960s,and then it gradually grew.Under the special historical background,the Chinese piano creation opened up new trails.It was no doubt that the piano music was adapted according to the melodies of instrumental music and Western composing techniques.It is a brand new attempt of Chinese piano creation.In this process,the Chinese piano works adapted from Guqin Quoc occupies a very important position.As the representative "Plum Blossom Melody in Three Variations "and "Farewell at Parting Song at Yangguan with a Thrice-Repeated Motif ",it is the classic in the classical piano arrangement.Both the melody,the structure,the timbre and the playing style all have the uniqueness of Chinese folk music.They demonstrate the modern piano performance skills and the Chinese traditional music aesthetic tendency,and have found a new direction and opened up a new path for the development of Chinese piano music.This article is divided into three parts.First,the first part introduces the development history of Guqin Qu in the adaptation of Chinese piano works,summarizes the development characteristics of Guqin adapted piano music,and the second part from the perspective of literature,supplemented by the characteristics of traditional culture.From the three perspectives of title,poetry,and cultural connotation,the piano works adapted from guqin music are analyzed in depth.Finally,the third part is the classical piano arrangement song“Plum Blossom Melody in Three Variations”and "Parting Song at Yangguan with a Thrice-Repeated Motif ".For example,the first work further analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of Chinese piano music.
