With the development of society and technology, the traditional way of grammar teaching cannot meet the requirement of students' development. At that time, flipped classroom model comes into being.Flipped classroom model originates from abroad, and its researches and studies in China start relatively slowly and late. This dissertation aims at examining the efficacy of flipped classroom model integrated with English grammar teaching in junior high school on students' mastery. Also,it intends to find out their attitudes and perceptions towards the flipped classroom model so as to check the feasibility of its popularization.Besides, students' suggestions and recommendations are wanted so as to provide valuable references for later teaching and research. This experiment lasted for 6 weeks in an experimental group(N=48)and a control group(N=42),studying at junior high school in Wuhan. In the control group, participants received traditional way of grammar teaching, which was made up of the teacher's delivery and explaining rules in class and students' drills after class. While in the experimental group, participants were required to watch the micro-videos made or selected by the researcher according to the learning content before class under the instruction of guide-learning plans. And they could ask for clarification through QQ platform at home,if needed. And in class, they were more prepared and various activities were designed accordingly so as to check and consolidate their understanding. There were four tests for participants of both groups, and questionnaire, interviews and classroom observations for the experimental group. The findings revealed that participants in the experimental group appeared to perform better than the traditional group, but the difference was not statistically significant. While after a longer period in the delayed post-test,there was a significant difference between two groups, indicating that flipped classroom model played a role in enhancing students'mastery and retention. Moreover, the majority of participants exhibited a positive attitude towards flipped classroom model, referring to their responses to the questionnaire, interview and classroom observation. In addition, some valuable suggestions were recommended, such as more cooperative and competitive activities, offering more instruction on their self-learning before class, making the best of parental support and supervision and so on,which offered useful references and enlightenments for later teaching and research in this arena.
