| With the advancement of urbanization,many wokers of small cities,such as Tianmen City,are going out to work.Many middle school students have become left-behind children.The left-behind middle school students do not live with their parents for many years,and how are their parents communicating with their children?Is there any gender,school segment,and only child non-only child dimension difference?What’s their mental health?What is the relationship between parent-child communication and mental health?Can group counselling improve parent-child communication among left-behind students?Based on the above questions,the author adopted questionnaire survey and interview method,taking 286 students left behind in Longhua Junior Middle School and Jingling Senior Middle School in Tianmen City as the research objects,using the"adolescents’ Parent-Child Communication scale" and "Middle School students’ Mental Health scale".In order to understand the situation of parent-child communication and mental health,and the relationship between parent-child communication and mental health,20 students were selected each from Yuxinlonghua junior high school and Jingling high school,with a mental health score of more than 2 points.Students who communicate with their parents and children with a score of less than 60 points use interviews and experiments to verify whether the designed group counseling can improve the quality of left-behind middle school students.Parent-child communication.The results show that:1.There are significant differences between male and female students in communication with their father,and the communication between male and father is significantly better than that of girl.2.The scores of anxiety and depression of female left-behind middle school students were significantly higher than those of boys.3.The scores of emotional imbalance of high school left-behind students were significantly higher than that of junior middle school left-behind students.4.The scores of bigotry and emotional imbalance in non-only children were significantly higher than those in only children5.There was a very significant negative correlation between the scores of Tianmen left-behind middle school students and their parents and the scores of mental health.6.The communication between Tianmen students and their parents negatively predicted the scores of mental health,which could account for 13.2%of the variation.7.Before and after group counseling intervention,the scores of communication between left-behind high school students and junior high school students in the experimental group were significantly improved.8.From the comparison results between groups,whether the junior high school stay students or high school stay students,the experimental group after intervention,communication with parents is not significantly different from the control group. |
