In recent years,with the development of the economy,the floating population has been increasing,and more and more attention and research have been paid to the migrant children.Migrant children as a special group are in a disadvantageous position in many aspects of the process of their growth and development,which has a bad effect on their physical and mental.Migrant children’s self efficacy and social anxiety has become a serious problems,which we have to pay attention to.This research is to explore the effect of group counseling on improve migrant children’s self-efficacy.And the research is rigorous and scientific,because it is on the basis of the survey,with the group counseling theory as a basis,according to the four factors influencing the self-efficacy.In this study,migrant children in grade four five and six in a migrant children’s school in Wuhan were selected as subjects.The master is a professional master of Psychology.We interviewed 279 migrant children with a questionnaire,of which 270 were valid.After data analysis,finally we selected 26 migrant children with high social anxiety as subjects,and divided them into experimental group and control group randomly(13 people in each group).There are 8 group coaching for the experimental group to improve their self-efficacy,while the control group without any treatment.Therefore,we can study the effectiveness of group counseling on improving self efficacy and alleviating social anxiety.In addition,I further analyzed the reasons for the intervention of group counseling.The results and conclusions are as follows:(1)There was a significant negative correlation between the sense of self-efficacy and social anxiety of the migrant children.And there is a significant gender difference.The social anxiety of girls is significantly higher than that of boys.When it comes to the negative evaluation of social anxiety,the score of female students was significantly higher than that of boys,but in the dimension of social avoidance,there was no significant difference between men and women.The difference in social anxiety scores among different grades showed marginally significant(p=0.52).The score in grade five was the highest,and the difference between grade four and grade five was significant.When it comes to the general self-efficacy score,the self-efficacy of the boys was better than that of the girls.There were also significant differences between different grades:grade five>grade six>grade four.The difference between grade four and grade five,grade four and grade six was significant,but there was no significant difference in grade five and six.There was no significant difference in the scores of social anxiety and self-efficacy between the only migrant child and the non only migrant child.(2)There was no significant difference in the score before and after the control group,that is,when the group counseling intervention was not applied to the subjects,the scores of anxiety and self-efficacy of the subjects did not change.After group counseling,the level of social anxiety in the experimental group was significantly decreased,and the level of self-efficacy increased significantly.To sum up,the group counseling is effective and can lessen the degree of social anxiety by improving the self-efficacy of the mobile children.(3)The reason for the effectiveness of this group counseling is related to the scientific rationality and pertinence of the scheme,the good group atmosphere,scientific implementation scheme,homework assignment and the self characteristics of the subjects.
