A Study On Japanese Image In Taiwan Movies At The Beginning Of The New Century(2000-2016)

Taiwan entered the post colonial period after the recovering in 1945,althoughthe colonial politics of Japan ended,as the suzerain,its cultural and ideology hadeffect on Taiwan and reflected in the art forms such as film in the long haul.Inthe first chapter,combining with the political and economic situation,a glimpseof the development of Taiwan’s ideology and culture can be caught byexamining the evolution of Japanese images in Taiwan’s movies.In the secondchapter,summarizing and explore the cause by analyzing the constructionstrategy of Japanese image used in Taiwan films at the beginning of the newcentury and make a comparison on differences between male and female imagebased on consumerism,feminism and so on.In the third chapter,it has theshape related to the figure of Japanese in the same period,Japanese image film,and it uses social related theories to put forward advice on shaping the image ofTaiwan local film and figure of Japanese in co-productions,and it tries to putforward the available way and trying for the "colonial" shaped by the figure ofJapanese in Taiwan film.
