The Emotional Reaction Of Core Disgust And Moral Disgust And Its Influence On College Students’ Cheat Behavior | | Posted on:2019-04-24 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y Q Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2405330548483247 | Subject:Applied psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Although the evolutionary adaptation theory holds that moral disgust develops from the core disgust of evolution,more and more researchers realize that although moral disgust and core disgust have many homogeneities,they differ in many aspects.The dissertation consists of two studies.The first study explores the differences in the time course of emotional arousal and adaptation between core disgust and moral disgust.Study 2 further explores the influence of the two types of disgust arousal on subsequent fraudulence.The study recruited 28 college students to participate in the study.In the research process,a series of autonomic response indicators were recorded in real time through the MP150 type physiological signal recorder.The emotional autonomy score was recorded using the emotional rating scale.Examine the differences in the time course of emotional arousal and adaptation of core disgust and moral disgust jointly.Study 2 recruited 72 college students to participate in the study.Individual factors such as personality and gender were included in the study to systematically examine the effects of core disgust and moral disgust on fraudulent behavior.The results show:(1)After repeated repetitions of aversive stimuli,moral disgust and core disgust show a markedly different time course of emotional arousal and adaptation.In subjective experience of emotional subjects,the emotional arousal of core disgust and moral disgust did not change significantly with the repetition of stimulation;The epileptic reaction of core disgust group and moral disgust group showed significant differences with stimulus repetition.The moral disgust group changed over time.The skin electricity was significantly increased,but there was no significant difference in the change of the skin electrical response in the core disgust group.(2)The influence of core disgust and moral disgust on fraudulent behavior was not significant,and the gender difference in deceptive behavior was not significant.(3)The agreeableness in the Big Five personality has a significant impact on deceptive behavior.The higher the agreeableness,the less deceptive behavior.The group of pleasant high scores showed a trend of less deceptive rate than the lowly pleasant grouping subjects under the conditions of core disgust and moral disgust. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | core disgust, moral disgust, emotional autonomic response, agreeableness, deception | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
