Application Of Hand Drawn Illustrations In Book Design

As a visual language,book illustration plays an important role in book design.As an original art of illustration,hand-painted illustration is a kind of original art with traditional drawing tools.Hand-drawn illustration of uniqueness and replication,unique artistic expression and artistic charm,as well as the original hand-painted works unique affinity and appeal,plays an indispensable role in book design.This paper classifies and collates the hand-drawn illustrations in the book of mountain and sea,and summarizes the application of hand-drawn illustrations in books by combining case analysis.It is used in hand-painted works to complete the image and scene of a series of exotic animals and gods in the mountains and seas.The book design section,mainly on the basis of the early hand-painted works,extracts the design elements,and adds the traditional decorative pattern,with the harmonious color,forming a series.Finally,the application of hand-painted illustrations in book design is illustrated by combining with my graduation creation.This illustration is mainly used to restore the image and scene in the book by realistic representation,which is more in line with the modern aesthetic way,and reinterprets the image in the book.In the aspect of book making,it mainly adopts the method of hand making,which makes the whole create the visual sense of primitive nature,and also better echoes the theme of ancient mountain and sea classics.How to retain the traditional hand-drawn illustration characteristic and better adapt to the mass aesthetic of modern society,the modern style hand-drawn illustration into ancient book Seas,there are both traditional charm and contemporary works,this is my graduation design innovation point,is also the graduation work significance of topic selection.
