Gongxiang,Xinshang And Jingjie

Feng Youlan carries out metaphysical thinking on the literature and art based on his philosophy of new neo-confiucianism.He forms a literary view based on three keywords of "gongxiang" "xinshang" "jingjie".The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the raise of Feng Youlan's view of literature and art.The"new life of the old state" is his method of study,principles and academic aspirations.He consciously pursued the modernization of culture and the metaphysical use of art,focused on the construction of the new Neo-Confucian system,and formed the basic position of "Art from the philosophical point of view" at the same time.The second chapter is about the "gongxiang" and criticism of literature and art,and focuses on Feng Youlan's view of literary ontology.He emphasized that the true value of literature and art lies in "expressing gongxiang".As for art,it is "skill resembles Tao" when viewed from inside the arts,and "Universal art" when viewed from outside the arts.The "qingjing" that comes as experience constitutes the standard of art criticism.The third chapter is about the artistic activity of "xinshang",and focuses on Feng Youlan's artistic activity theory.Corresponding to philosophy's "xinguan",he regards art as a kind of heart-appreciate activity.He puts forward the idea of "eqing" to explain the psychological state of artistic creation.The interpretation of suggesting and appreciation shows his recognition of the ideals of traditional Chinese art.The fourth chapter is about art and the "jingjie",focusing on Feng Youlan's theory of life realm.The four-level realm of nature,utilitarianism,morality,and heaven and earth is a process of constant heightening of artistic aesthetic freedom.The "letian" realm can bring about aesthetic pleasure,while the "tongtian" realm is the aesthetic revival of the combination of people and things.Life and art are also united in this realm.Feng Youlan's views of literature and art has distinctive features of humanism and composes Li and Jing.His philosophy of art has elevated the position of literary metaphysics and inspired us to improve aesthetic tastes,enhance the spiritual realm,and rejuvenate our aesthetic ideals.
