Western Hunan Tujia Dance "Tears Of Joy" Creative Practice And Inspiration

The traditional folk custom is an important source for the Dance Creation.The creation of the choreographic work Xi Jia Lei is based on the Crying Marriage,the unique wedding custom of the Tujia nationality.In the perspective of Dance Creation,taking the folk custom of great antiquity,Crying Marriage,as the research subject,combining the historical background,through repeated edition and modification,the author created the women group dance Xi Jia Lei,which is integrated into the form,content and trait of the unique wedding custom,and presented it as the finale for the personal special show.From the perspective of research,this article deeply analyzes and studies the creative features of the Tujia dance Xi Jia Lei.For analysis and explanation,the article is divided into three parts.The first part briefly describes the custom of Crying Marriage of Tujia nationality in western Hunan province in China,and comprehensively introduces the creation background of the work,Xi Jia Lei.In the second part,based on the comprehensive and in-depth elaboration of the aspects such as the structure,vocabulary and composition of the dance,musical features,costumes and so on,it focuses on the analysis of the creation practice and characteristics of the Tujia dance.It also explains how the custom,Crying Marriage,is applied and presented in the dance,and in the process of the dance creation,how the custom of the Tujia nationality is fully recognized and how the Tujia dance vocabulary and materials are selected and applied.In the third part,based on the analysis of the creation characteristics,and the comprehensive summary of the practice experience in the creation of the dance,the author deepened the understanding of the dance creation of the ethnic minorities.
