Gu Jinyun TV Drama Art Research

Gu Jinyun is one of the most influential drama directors in mainland China.In his 20 years of film and television creative career,a considerable number of outstanding TV dramas have appeared on television screens one after another.By reviewing Gu Jinyun’s personal life,his artistic career can be roughly divided into three stages.His creative style has experienced three shifts from an objective record to a technology-based one to a “great person”.Judging from the performance content,the TV series directed by Gu Jinyun always regards the growth of individual life as eternal humanistic care.In his masterpieces,he takes the heroine image,the negative image,and the female image as the main narration objects,and the narrative rhythm of the text of the works is in the emotions of characters.The processing of native music is full of sports beauty and rhythm beauty.However,these TV dramas still have some issues worth exploring in terms of aesthetic value,namely,the unrealistic creative tendencies of pan-entertainment,the overly stiff narrative narration of the main theme,and the lack of heights in realistic aesthetic ideals.How to look at these issues more scientifically and seek improvement is the original purpose and value of this article.Based on this,this article puts forward a series of practical improvement methods and coping strategies for the above issues from the perspective of the researcher,such as the deep exploration of the truth,the good,the beauty,the humanism,and the main theme of realism TV drama.Grasp the creative rules of TV drama art.This paper takes the representative TV drama directed by Gu Jinyun as the research text,explores and explores the aesthetic characteristics and value of Gu Jinyun’s TV drama art,in order to fill the gaps in the field of Gu Jinyun TV drama art research and provide new ideas for TV drama director’s creation research.
