The Study On The Crosscultural Adaptation Of The Chinese Volunteer Teachers In Thai Higher Education Commission In Thailand

As a lubricant to communicate with the people of different countries on the new Silk Road,Chinese is a bridge to promote economic and trade between China and the other countries in the world.Chinese volunteer teachers who teach in Thailand doesn’t only need good professional knowledge,but also need strong cross-cultural adaptability.The purpose of this paper is to study the problems of Chinese volunteer teachers’ cross-cultural adaptation in overseas countries.The survey investigates and studies the volunteers’ teaching in Thailand during the two years from 2016 to 2018.The main targets are the Chinese Volunteer teachers of the Higher Education Committee,Volunteer Teachers of Confucius Institutes and Confucius Class.A survey on the cross-cultural adaptation of the volunteers of the Chinese teachers of the Chinese Higher Education Council was conducted through questionnaires and other methods;Then analyze the factors affecting the cross-cultural adaptation of the volunteers of the Thailand Higher Education Committee for Chinese volunteer teachers,which are divided into internal factors and external factors;Based on the survey culture and interview results,an analysis was made of the adaptation of Chinese volunteer teachers;Finally,it analyzes the factors affecting the cross-cultural adaptation of the Chinese volunteer teachers of the Higher Education Council of Thailand and proposes some strategies and suggestions for the volunteer teachers themselves,the local teaching institutions in Thailand and the Han ban. We all hope that volunteer teachers can better integrate into the Confucius Institute and local schools,and successfully complete the promotion of Chinese culture and works during the dispatch period.
