A Study On The Historical Theme Scripts Of Luanzhou Shadow Play

As an age-old folk art in China,shadow play is in possession of profound historical cultural connotations,and bears the happiness and sorrow of the ordinary people for thousands of years,and it emits unique charm in many literature and art.The Luanzhou shadow play has always received greater attention as one of the most mature Chinese shadow play.This paper makes a systematic analysis and research on the historical themes of Luanzhou shadow play from literature,folklore,history,art and so on.This paper is divided into six parts.The purpose and significance of the topic selection,the related concepts such as "shadow play","Luanzhou shadow play","drama script","historical theme" and so on are introduced in the introduction part.Then,on the basis of combing the current situation of Luanzhou film drama script research,we have a clear understanding of the achievements and shortcomings of the current Luanzhou shadow scripts research,so that this paper can focus on the later writing,show the colorful Luanzhou shadow play to a large extent.Based on the detailed literature and firsthand field data,this paper analyzes and arranges the historical theme scripts of Luanzhou shadow play,laying a solid foundation for the later writing of the paper.We find that the historical drama shadow plays account for a large proportion of all the Luanzhou shadow plays,and are popular with the public.so the first section of this chapter researchs the basis of the historical theme scripts of Luanzhou shadow play from many aspects.The second section begins with individual cases,according to the main contradictions and the identity status of the two sides in the shadow play.The historical theme scripts are divided into "the struggle of loyal officials and treacherous ones" shadow scripts,"the emperor forces and the minister against" shadow scripts,"two heroes fighting for hegemony" shadow scripts and "the hero legend" shadow scripts,and there are some brief summary analysis for performance model of the various types of historical shadow plays.The second chapter analyzes the characters of the shadow play.Character is the soul of the play,the display of the wonderful plot and the connotation of the theme must be reflected by the characters in the play.In this paper,we choose two roles to carry on the analysis and exploration,the image of the emperor which is in high position but subversive,and the image of the female which has a lower status but is endowed with important function.This paper discusses what the requirements and hopes of the two characters are be given in the script.The third chapter analyzes and studies the artistic pursuit of Luanzhou shadow play about creation of historical theme script.Through the comparison of children’s affairs between the historical plays and the plays of gifted scholars and beauties,the analysis of the intense stage effect of " two women rob a husband" and " loyal officials and treacherous court officials fight in court" and the frequent repeatedly narrative mode of the plays,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the close connection between the historical plays of Luanzhou drama and the rise and fall of the country in ideology,the pursuit of drama " hot" in aesthetic taste and the outstanding application of artistic writing techniques.The fourth chapter analyzes the content essence from the form of the script content,and studies and summarizes the historical view and the historical consciousness generated by the historical theme scripts of Luanzhou shadow play through the overall grasp of the historical theme scripts content.The conclusion part summarizes the whole paper and analyzes the deficiency of the paper.
