With the rapid development of modern society,as well as the opportunities and the pressures at the same time,people always give themselves too much pressure in their studies and work.Some people who have strong heart can have self-comforts,however,some people can’t get an effective method to relieve stress.A strange use of inappropriate methods may cause some mental diseases,which will not only affect their own health but also their interpersonal relationships.Psychological defense mechanism is a mental activity which is to avoid the mentalities such as pain,stress,anxiety and embarrassment,thus to restore a psychologic equilibrium,and it is also a method that everyone uses more or less in their daily life.The design work Visible Heart is a study on vision expression for the psychological phenomenon-psychological defense mechanism,conveying the concept of psychological defense mechanism with a combination of image and text.So that people can feel their inner changes intuitively,improve the understanding of psychological defense mechanism,and provide new methods and channels for them to optimize their self psychology.
