The Research On The Compassion Of Children’s Fiction By Cao Wenxuan

Cao Wenxuan became the first children’s literature writer to win the International Andersen Award in China.His influence is very far-reaching at home and abroad.Whether Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction or literary theory,he has always advocated the importance of "Compassion of Literature".This academic paper will divide three parts which are introduction,four chapters and conclusion,it takes Cao Wenxuan’s several typical children’s fictions as examples to fully understand the presentation and aesthetic value of the "Compassion of Literature" in children’s fiction by Cao Wenxuan.At the same time,it combines tragic consciousness,child personality development,literature and psychology theories to explore the unique sorrowful view of Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction.The introduction part mainly focuses on the systematic integration and analysis of Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction in China,and reviews its research status,research contents and research themes.In addition,this thesis introduces the research perspectives,research methods and the significance of selected topics in order to develop the study of Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction.In the first chapter,the thesis first combed Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction.Through the "growth in the country","the wandering in the city","the first love of the boys and girls" and "the heart of the juvenile’s incompleteness",we will look at the characteristics of Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction.Secondly,the article elicited the theory of "compassion" of literature as a research basis,and compared the different literary aesthetics of "tragedy" between China and the West,and expounded Cao Wenxuan’s pessimistic subject with Chinese classicism and national consciousness.In the second chapter,the article analyzed Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction with strong compassion.The first is that the author’s personal childhood experience provides reference for the creation of children’s literature.The second is that Cao Wenxuan is influenced by Andersen’s fairy tale tragedy.Therefore,he likes toconstruct stories using mournful characters,fate,and plots,which makes the works have a strong drama tension and forms a unique personal sadness style.In the third chapter,the article began with the concrete literary works and used three aspects to analyze the sadness and spirit of Cao Wenxuan children’s fiction.They were the defects of the characters’ physiology and psychology,the disintegration and reconstruction of the concept of "home",as well as the consciousness of suffering and the wandering complex.Moreover,they have become the intuitive presentation,internal composition and overall tone of the compassionate spirit.In the fourth chapter,the thesis mainly excavated the value and influence of the compassion spirit in Cao Wenxuan’s fiction on literature and audience.Comparing with the popular literature of the "School of Resentment",Cao Wenxuan proposed that literature should have a “beautiful and balanced” spirit.That is to say,good literature should have literary nature and profoundness.Promoting the truth,kindness and beauty is the eternal theme of literary works.The epilogue part is an extended exploration of Cao Wenxuan’s unique compassion.Through analogy to summer up the realization of Cao Wenxuan’s unique compassionate spirit,that is,use self-examination to achieve self-redemption,write the core spirit of the story and do not interfere with the determination of character’s sorrowful personality.At the same time,Cao Wenxuan carries a Confucian "heart" to see and understand the suffering of the world,and he also uses classical poetic images to soften misery,so he has a writing style of Chinese classicism.
