Research On The Female Superhero Image In Chinese And Foreign Films From The Perspective Of Gender Identity

With the change of the times and the gradual improvement of women’s status,people’s concern for women also increases,and the recognition of female gender and the affirmation of female social role are also greatly improved.As a kind of mass media,there is a huge change in how the movie portraying women’s image.The formation of female characters in the film has been controversial since the birth of the film industry and it has presented the phenomenon of "contending for a hundred schools of thought".As an important cultural product,movies have a prominent role in reflecting and changing people’s consciousness.Therefore,the issue of shaping the image of women in the movie deserves more and more attention.The recognition and affirmation in the film is a large number of women’s heroic role in shaping.These films take women as the narrative angle of view,making women become the female warrior of the narrative protagonist.One of the most eye-catching is the European and American movies in the female superhero image.They are endowed with the same men,and even beyond the strength and courage of men,but also with the emotional,maternal love and other characteristics of women’s unique character.This kind of portrayal of female heroes of the film in the world set off a wave of super heroine,male viewers watching such films not only to get the visual pleasure of traditional heroic films,but also from a very gender-attractive image of women to obtain the opposite sex attraction,while the female audience can get the satisfaction and pleasure of their gender identity from the female hero’s shaping.The Chinese film market for female hero movie image of the success of the most still stay in Mulan,Mu guiying hero and other female hero image,for the female hero of the creation of lack of innovation.But China’s heroic image of the model if blindly copying the west of the superhero film models are often not acclimatized to the phenomenon,such as "robot" and other Chinese superheroes from the box office has not been recognized by the Chinese audience.Therefore,how to shape and develop the image of female heroes in Chinese movies is an urgent problem to be solved in Chinese film industry nowadays.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the portrayal of female superheroes in Hollywood films,to sum up the experience of portraying female heroes,and to explore the development path of portraying female heroic images with Chinese characteristics in combination with the actual situation of Chinese society.
