| Since the new century,Disney’s film territory has been continuously expanding,occupying most of the film market in North America and even the world.While inheriting the traditional mode of production,they began to explore deeper expressions and thoughts in the field of live-action films adaptation of animation.Animated adaptation of live-action movies has long been explored in the evolution of the Hollywood genres.Starting with the live-action film adapted from amination of the same name “101 Dalmatians” in 1996,Alice in Wonderland,Cinderella,Beauty and the Beast,and other live-action films have successfully filmed,allowing the emergence of the animation adaptation of live-action films as the new phenomenon.It is expected that the animated film adaptation of live-action films in the next few years will appear on the big screen more frequently and become the focus of Disney’s film production.Therefore,this paper focuses on explaining the causes of its phenomenon and summing up the experience of American genre films in order to provide a reference for the construction of the super-conventional type matrix in our country.This article first combs the development of the three stages including Disney animation films,the live-action animated films,and the animated adaptations of live-action films.It summarizes the Disney’s film production and the development pattern and further explains the causes of the phenomenon the film’s adaptation of live-action films.Targeting at this phenomenon,the author tries to conclude and classify the films produced by Disney.Then,the text analysis of the classic film is conducted to interpret the similarities and differences between animations and live-action films in narrative texts,character images,themes,and image styles so as to explore the adaptation strategy and aesthetic features of the live-action animated text.And with the method of case analysis,the films shown in recent years are compared with the classic animations.Furthermore,this paper discusses the current status and prospects of the market of Disney’s animated film adaptations as a new super-conventional type tentatively developed by Hollywood so that it can provide a valuable extra-territorial experience and type reference for the development of new types of Chinese films. |
