| The Chinese selective complex sentences,an important kind of Chinese complex sentences, are one of the most early learned parts of the learners in the process of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. And various errors have occurred among students when learning the marked selective complex sentences. This thesis is a study and discussion on acquisition of Chinese marked selective complex sentences of Thai students based on the author’s volunteer experience of teaching Chinese in Thailand, aimed at subjects who are Thai native speakers at three different levels(primary, intermediate and advanced)by means of questionnaire survey. The first part is an introduction which states the reason and meaning of the subject, and then defines the research scope, illustrates the thought, the sources of corpus and the innovation, finally summarizes the previous studies. The second part is the survey on using of Chinese marked selective complex sentences by Thai students,we made analysis of different situations, and then we got the order of seven sentence patterns which the students learnt:A-B-C-D-E-F-G.The third part is the error category and analysis,we found that students always made errors on the associated word, the location of the conjunctions, the components of sentences, the combination of sentence and the sentences’ logic. And then we made a discussion on the reasons of errors, which mainly include the negative transfer of Thailand language, the lack of knowledge of target language of students, the deficiency of textbooks and the mistakes of teaching. We found that the word“????”is equivalent to “haishi”and “huozhe”in Chinese, which is the main cause of errors, and because of the semantic and pragmatic difficulty of “ningke......yeyao……”,most of the students found it was hard to learn. The forth part is some teaching suggestions and some designed grammars based on the author’s experience and the errors. There are still few researches on the acquisition of Chinese marked selective complex sentences and we hope that Chinese teaching aimed at Thai will benefit from this research. |
